★★★★★“When you visit Pulau Ubin Island, you will likely want to rent a bicycle. As you arrive at the jetty, there are only two options, right next to each other. In my humble opinion, they are very similar in terms of quality, price and terms. But they will tell you that the other's bicycles are terrible, unsafe, expensive and out of date...and every other insult in the book. We went with this place at $8 for 1 day rental. My wife's bicycle was a bit weak in the tired whereas mine had loose handlebars and somewhat questionable brakes. I cannot be convinced that the other shop had any better quality or service. Either way, if you come on a weekend, come early as they do sell out. If you come on a weekday, that is highly unlikely to be an issue. Pro Tip While either bike rental shop is as good as the other, don't make your selection too quickly if you want to hear some argumentative fireworks, free of charge😉”
★★★★★“After reading reviews about bike rentals on P. Ubin, decided to get mine from this shop. Initially the uncle let me try the cheaper ones but I’m glad I asked for the Trinx which was worth it for peace of mind. Covered the Ketam mtb trail easily and Chek Jawa wetlands quickly with the mtb. Good fun. Would do it again.”
★★★★★“There are many bicycle rental shops along the main street when you arrive on the island, and we were glad to rent from 25 Bicycle Rental as they had child seats available. The auntie and uncle who run the shop were very kind and helpful. They also offer older bicycles at better prices, which is a nice option. We chose a steadier bicycle at $20 a day for our toddler’s safety and comfort. We really appreciated their attentiveness and their reminders about cycling safely on the island’s hilly terrain. Highly recommend this place!”
★★★★★“I can highly recommend Nr 25 Bicycle Rental. The auntie and uncle who assisted us were super kind and helpful. We picked the bikes for £15 & helmet for £3. One had a saddle a bit used, so the lady brought a new one. All 3 bikes worked very well during our stay on the island (rental is for full day) you can try the bike (s) first too if needed. One advice is if you get a bike with basket, make sure you attach your bag with a strap (because of the macaques/monkeys!🐒)”
